Textocracy - NOW LIVE

It is important for us at Herefordshire Carers Support to hear about your day to day experiences as a Carer so that we can make our support services as helpful and appropriate as possible.

We have found a new way of doing this that is quick and easy, using just your mobile phone and a text message.

You don’t need a smartphone, any mobile will do.
You do not need to register an account online, or remember a login or password.
You can say what you want, when you want, anytime day or night.
Your comment will be anonymous.
You will not be contacted in return.

Using the service is very simple: save 01432 233088 in your phone under Herefordshire Carers Support. Anytime you think of something, anything, which feels important to you as a Carer, to get off your chest, just put it in a text and hit send.

It won’t cost you any more than sending any text. You will get an automated response to confirm that your message has been received.

You do not need an internet connection or use any of your data allocation, and you won’t need to be connected to the internet.

This service will be ready for you to use from 14 September 2015. From that day, you can send a text anytime you think of something you would like for us to hear.

Click on the ‘Carers, Have Your Say’ link and see your comment be captured, and also see what other Carers are saying.

Monthly summary of texts received via Textocracy:

You may see that there are many Carers out there experiencing the same things as you, or see a suggestion for something that might help you as well, or see that something that is important to you is not being captured, and that it would be good for you to add your comment.

The dashboard will show you with a live readout what others in your community are saying about their experiences.

We will share the total results of all the comments back out to you, as well as to those who design services that support Carers so that they can make better decisions and improve services for you!
