If you look after someone who couldn’t manage without your help please get in touch. Our friendly team can offer emotional support, one-to-one advice and help with accessing the information and services that are relevant to you. We also offer complementary therapies, support groups, training opportunities and much more.
We aim to open up possibilities so that you can continue your caring responsibilities but also to take stock.
Each Carer is individual and different, what helps one person may not help another but we will help you to explore ideas and think about what might help you.
Who are Carers?
A Carer is someone who provides unpaid support to a family member, partner, child, friend or neighbour who may be ill, frail, elderly, have a disability or long-term health issue or have mental health issues.
Perhaps you don’t think of yourself as a ‘Carer’
There is support available for you
There are huge pressures on Carers. Some say the biggest pressure is having little control over your own life.
No-one is super-human and all Carers need help, support and back-up at some point. If you’re not sure
what kind of support you need or whether you need support at all, please get in touch.
We would like to thank all the Carers that took the time to contribute to this Survey, which we do use to help us to reflect on our services and to plan what we do in the future.
We have responded to individual Carers where they have asked questions and provided them with information where we thought this would be helpful. If there is anything that you would like to add or ask about please contact help@herefordshirecarerssupport.org or phone 01432 356068.
