Visit the website now to take part - www.freewillsmonth.org.uk - all you need to do is scroll down, enter your details and follow the instructions to select a convenient solicitor from the map.
Call them to book your appointment, please remember to mention ‘Free Wills Month’ when you call. The charities are paying for a limited number of Wills, so the earlier you call, the better.
We have participating solicitors in 29 locations across England and Wales so there should be a Free Wills Month solicitor close to you.
If we don’t have a location near you and you are unable to travel to any of them, unfortunately you won’t be able to take part in the campaign this time.
The website has a Will Planner which is a handy summary of the things you might like to think about before you visit a solicitor.
Lastly and most importantly − the charities are paying for Wills in the hope that people will consider leaving them a gift (though there is no obligation). A gift in your Will costs you nothing now, but makes a difference to these fantastic charities in years to come. It’s an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in a painless way! Each Will written without a gift takes money away from the charities’ core work: please consider this when making your appointment.
