In October 2016, Maggie and Lisa first bumped into each other at The Courtyard, Hereford at the screening of the film ‘Yarn’. Little did they know that later they would launch Rejuvenate! - a Creative Carers’ group.
As Carers, they both understand that creativity in everyday life aids relaxation, reduces stress and improves wellbeing. They want to get this message across to other Carers, whatever their age or ability.
Rejuvenate! has now been meeting monthly since September 2017 and plans to continue throughout 2018.

Oasis Programme

This month, following a recommendation from one of our members, we have invited Maggie Kingston along who is part of the Oasis programme in Herefordshire. It will give us the opportunity to hear what is available locally should you wish to pursue it further. Maggie is part of an affordable programme aimed to assist long term Carers balance their needs - all helped along with an art theme. And… we will all be exploring and producing a felt ball to take away with us. I am intrigued, I hope you are too!
